  • Self dressing learning in mentally disabled children in a special class in SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang has been applied well enough by a special tutor. Self dressing learning using these clothing teaches independence in wearing clothes for mentally disabled children. This study aims to determine: (1) Self dressing learning on mentally disabled children in a special class. (2) Obstacles encountered when self dressing learning in menttaly disabled children in a special class. (3) Efforts to overcome obstacles when self dressing learning on menttaly disabled children in a special class. This research uses qualitative research approach and descriptive research type. This research uses the subject of the menttaly disabled children in the category of light class V grade self dressing learning in a special class. This research was carried out in SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang implementing inclusive education program. Intake of data in this research by way of observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The subject of research is quite capable of doing self dressing learning using clothing guided by special tutors. (2) Obstacles encountered when self dressing learning using the clothing or unsteady mood of the subject of research when doing self study using clothes. (3) Efforts to overcome obstacles when self dressing learning using clothing that is a special tutor entertaining the subject of research before self dressing learning using clothes. The results of this study are expected to be useful as a study material to determine self dressing learning by the menttaly disabled children in special class.
