- This study aims to explain, first, the role of Samjhauta in fighting for women's educational rights in Nepal through empowerment and cooperation with local and International Organizations. Second, to find out the issues of women's education in Nepal. The concept of this research is the concept of civil society which has 10 roles are Watchdog, Advocate, Service Provider, Expert, Capacity Builder, Incubator, Representative, Citizenship Champion, Solidarity Supporter, and Definer of Standards and women empowerment has 5 types of social, education , politic, economic, and psychological. The method of this research is descriptive with data collection technique using Library Research method. The result of this research is Samjhauta's role was done through empowerment of education, politics, social, economy, and psychological through roles as advocate, expert, citizen champion, capacity builder, and service provider. Through its programs, Samjhauta succeeds in getting women to gain rights in education, producing the abilities and skills necessary to fight the persecution they've been through and women can understand that men and women have equal rights.
