- Zimbra is a free licensed email server application which has complete features and ease of installing and managing mail server. Multiserver systems are increasingly being developed from long-established single server systems. In this case, for example, the performance of single server is less reliable, because all services are supported on one server for each mail server, besides that also sometimes the user difficulty to access because one of service there is dead. For that in multiserver mode is suitable because multiserver performance is not burdened at one server point but all loads are shared on each server that serves certain services. Multiserver method can also be sure to maximize every service server zimbra. Building your own mail server is the perfect solution to solve the problem. In multi server there are several optimizations to add sophistication, Zimbra LDAP is user authentication served through OpenLDAP software. Each account on the Zimbra server has a unique mailbox ID that assigns a primary (primary index) value to identify each account.
