- Indonesia is one tropical country that is rich in solar energy potential, this is because Indonesia lies blowing equator, so big radiation penyirnya 4.80 kWh / m2 / hari. Solar panels are tools that can convert radiation from sunlight into electrical energy, direct sunlight into electricity by photovoltaics. Photovoltaic is a major component in a solar anel already packed into a unit called a module. This study discusses the application of solar panels on a sprayer that is a farmer plant sprayer and implements solar panels that are integrated with the sprayer to be used. In this study there are several processes for implementing solar panels in farmer sprayer sprayer, the first to connect the battery with a solar charger controller, the two connect the panel to the solar charger controller and that at the same time on the solar charger controller to the pmpa diaphragm. The results of the research is to recharge the battery does not need to use electricity from PLN because it uses solar panels and rechargeable batteries, requiring battery for 15 hours 56 minutes in sunny weather conditions. for sprayer use without solar panels can be used for 218 minutes for the use of sprayer by adding solar panels can be used for 238 or by 9.17%.
