- The implementation of teaching media helps the learners to get concrete view related the ecosystem type material that is claimed difficult. The development of teaching media is important to solve the limitation of media at the school and increase the understanding of the learners towards ecosystem type material. This research focusses on Science learning of ecosystem type material by developing Eco Magnetfield Puzzle media which is aimed to, (1) find out feasible of Eco Magnetfield Puzzle on Material of ecosystem type (2) describe the implementation of Eco Magnetfield Puzzle on Material of ecosystem type This research uses the development stages of Borg and Gall model with the type of data qualitative and quantitave. The data in this research are need analysis document, teachers and students handbook, design development, validation of questionaire result by material, teaching, and media expert, pre-test result, post-test of control and experimental class, and questionaire of students responses. The subjects are class teacher of gade V and the students of grade V SDN Purwantoro II Malang. The data technique uses interview, questionnaire, pre-test, post-test, and documentation. The result shows that Eco Magnetfield Puzzle has been through the validation test by material, media, and teaching expert. According to validation of material expert, it gains a percentage score of 97 %. In addition, based on media expert, it gains percentage score of 100%, and percentage score of 97.5% by teaching expert with good quality. It is proven by the result of pre-test and post-test in control and experimental class which showed the improvement after using Eco Magnetfield Puzzle media with the average score of 73.07 and it is claimed to reach the standard score (≥61). Therefore, it can be concluded that Eco Magnetfield Puzzle media is suitable and can be used as a material support of ecosystem type at SDN Purwantoro II Malang.
