  • This research aim to obtain information about the entrepreneurial competence of headmaster, and also how strategi of headmaster strategy in building brand image of Islamic Institution. The entrepreneurial competence is influence the progress of school. Therefor private institutions. This research used the qualitative reasearch, and are descriptive of where researchs deliver narrative in what actually going on site research. The form of this research is the research field where reseachers work direcly in the field of research and the reseacrher did not participate in the process that headmaster do. Because researcher are passive. Data collection techniques that research is by observation and indept interview with headmaster and public relation departmen and also white documentations. The result of this reseacrh are that headmaster have intreprenerial competence and he is alpy his competence at SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondang Legi that basic Islam. The headmaster have innovation program for school, and he have character never give up, always find the solutions of the problem. The headmaster is tipycal that have leadership entepreneur. Biside it, the headmaster always have hight motivation for individual succsess and institution succsess in the future. Among strategi that aplied in building brand image of school are with the label or name SMK MUTU, exploid the Muhammadiyah organisation brand image, always get prestation, aply the Islamic value at school. Excemple coming on time, lifeclean etc.
