  • This shoe dryer machine is designed to use heat energy air condenser air conditioner room as a source of energy to dry shoes. The advantages of this shoe dryer machine is easy in operation, not dependent on the weather and can be used morning, noon, and night. The designed shoe dryers are expected to be able to dry large quantities of shoes that are safe, environmentally friendly and practical and able to work without involving the source of solar energy. In designing the shoe dryer is more focused on designing ducting as the main component of the shoe dryer by utilizing heat energy air condenser air conditioning. So the purpose of this research is to design the shoe dryers by utilizing the heat of AC condenser and designing the air ducting in accordance with the required drying capacity. The result of this final project is the design of shoe drying machine with ducting design result obtained in the form of ducting dimension 0,254 x 0,254 m, output ducting hole: 1,537 x 0,254 m, cross sectional area of ducting (Ain): 0,0645 m2, ducting (Aout): 0.39 m2, material using Zincalume with a thickness of 0.65 mm according to standard on the market and power blower fan required for drying process is 2 HP.
