  • The use of learning media in the fourth grade of third Sumberbendo State Elementary School, Sumberbendo Village, Pucanglaban Subdistrict of Tulungagung Regency has not been maximal yet. The medium used is still limited for only one subject in which the media is not covering others. Needed for the media development for learning materials can be delivered properly and improve student learning outcomes.This study aims to produce the development of pictorial comic media in thematic learning in fourth grade students of third Sumberbendo State Elementary School, Tulungagung regency. This research uses research and development of ADDIE model. As the source of data, selected fourth grade students of third Sumberbendo Primary School, Sumberbendo Village, Pucanglaban District, Tulungagung regency, in academic year 2017/2018 with eight students. This research is conducted in December 2017. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, questionnaires and documentation. The results show the development of pictorial comic media in thematic learning in fourth grade students of Primary School using model of research and development of ADDIE model. The research and development procedure of the ADDIE model consists of five stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. pictorial comic media in thematic learning in fourth grade elementary school students are included in the category of proper use. Test validity by media experts get the percentage value of 89% included in the category valid. Test of validity by the material expert gets the percentage of 73% value included in the valid category. The test of validity by the learning expert gets the percentage of 93% value included in the valid category. The average result of the student response shows the percentage of 97.5% value included in either category. Overall, pictorial comic media in thematic learning in fourth grade students of third Sumberbendo State Elementary School Tulungagung Regency is valid as learning media.
