- ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the calorific value generated by the brike based banana blend mixture and wood powder. The material used is dried banana bark waste and then added with the waste of wood powder, as a mixture to increase the calorific value. The variables used in this study are the composition of campurang banana and wood powder banana with comparison (50:50), (90:10), (70:30). The result of the analysis showed that the characteristics of briquette briquettes resulted from the variation of the amount of the charcoal mixture, the ash content (4.54 - 8.04%), the volatile substance (14,16 - 20,92%), the carbon content tied (74,54 - 77,80%), firmness (15,92 - 22,30%) and heat value (5,498 - 5,640).
