  • The government created an inclusive education system, where the learning incorporates between regular students and students with special needs. In inclusive education, to make good and conducive learning environment and learning process required social acceptance from regular students to students with special needs, but the shortcomings of this students are still often mocked by regular students, indicating their lack of social acceptance. This can happen because of negative perceptions to the students with special needs. The purpose of this study is to see whether there is a relationship between perceptions of students with special needs and social acceptance of regular students. This research is a correlational research. Subjects in this study as many as 267 regular students in inclusion schools. Sampling phase using Total sampling method. The results showed a significant relationship between perception and social acceptance, with sig value. 0.000. and the value of person correlation 0.667 shows a positive relationship which means the higher the value of perception the higher the value of social acceptance
