- The safety factor for motorcycles is very important. The technology has been widely used RFID technology, the weakness of RFID. However, rfid has some disadvantages such as id tags easily lost and damaged. The security system is also not equipped with monitoring technology. The purpose of this study is to use NFC and GPS technology to develop a motorcycle security system that is more user friendly and has a trace tracking system. This study applies two methods of authentication method for NFC and positioning to GPS. As for delivey media using SIM808 through GPRS network and Google Maps as a media viewer tracking result. The results obtained are NFC can do the reading with the optimum distance of 0-2 cm with a response time of 0.60 seconds with a success rate of 100%. While GPS can provide position coordinates are displayed via Google Maps in the form of a waypoint with an average interval of 25.5 seconds.
