- This study aims to analyze the implementation of Article 14 paragraph 1 letter A of Law Number 12 of 1995 on Correctional to the Fulfillment of the Right to Worship for Prisoners in penitentiary of Lowokwaru Class I Malang. This study used sociological juridical to analyse the fulfillment of the right to worship for the prisoners in penitentiary Class I Malang. The result of the research showed that the fulfillment of the right of worship for prisoners of Lowokwaru Klas I Prison in Malang is still not maximal, it is proven that in penitentiary of Lowokwaru Class I Malang does not perform its function as Penitentiary because it is not in accordance with Government Regulation Number 32 of 1999 about Right to Worship Article 3 paragraph 1,2 and 3 & Article 6 paragraph 1. The authors conclude that there are factors that inhibit the objectives of the correctional institutions of prisons and prisoners, as well as inadequate facilities infrastructure. The author suggests that the fulfillment of the right to worship is done optimally.
