- Exclusive Asi is breastfeeding to infants given from 0 days to 6 months without additional food or other breast milk substitutes. Exclusive breastfeeding may fail because one of the causes is a small amount of milk production. To overcome this, some efforts can be made to increase milk production such as by eating healthy foods to supply the nutritional intake of breastfeeding mothers. This research design using case study method. Samples taken as many as 3 participants are families with experience failure of exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to find out how the experience of mother failure in exclusive breastfeeding that occurred in Ny D. The result of the research is 3 themes, that is perception about breastfeeding, perception about the cause of failure of first child suckling, and effort done to increase milk production.
