- The company's current performance measurement is a traditional measurement system that measures company performance using a financial perspective that only focuses on short-term goals. On that case in 1996 Kaplan & Norton made a Company’s measurement called “Balanced Scorecard”. Balanced Scorecard is a strategic performance management tool that measures company performance by using four perspectives: financial perspective, customer perspective, business process perspective, and Learn and growth perspective (Mulyadi, 2007). This research aims to analyze the performance of the company PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk during the period 2014-2016 using the Balanced Scorecard method. This research using descriptive analysis by analyzing the performance of PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk based on four Balanced Scorecard perspectives. The result of this research is the performance of PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk in 2015 is better compared to 2014 and 2016.
