- This research aimed to find out the influence of separator toward hexane flammability limit in meso-scale combustor. meso-scale combustor consists of vapor chamber made of stainless steel using flame holder lines 8 as heatness recirculation and 3,5 mm diameter quartz glass tube. Result show that flame stability in meso-scale combustor achived by adding 3 mm stainless steel as separator between vapor chamber and flame holder. Flame stability in meso-scale combustor obtained in equivalent ratio of 0,41 1,51 and speed of reactant rate U 15,76 cm/s to U 30,58 cm/s. visualization reflects the increment of equivalent ratio value that the flame is brighter, wider by the increasing of reactant rate. Flame temperature increases with faster reactant and decreases as the equivalent ratio value increases.
