- This research begins from the researcher's interest in the number of wakaf land that has not been certified, people in general still consider that the certification of wakaf land is not important yet. For people with a low level of education assume that wakaf is a wakaf affair with God. Due to the absence of wakaf land certificate, there are problems arising in the future. Based on this background, the researcher is interested to do research on how the society view towards the certification of wakaf land in Sidokelar Village, Paciran Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency. Method of problem solving approach in writing this thesis using sociological juridical approach based on the provisions of applicable legislation is associated with legal theory and see the reality that occurs in the community associated with the certification of wakaf land. The sample of this study amounted to 5 informants. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews, interviews and documentation. After going through this stage of the research it can be seen that, the view of community towards the certification of wakaf land is because the community feels strong enough not to certify wakaf land over the wakaf land already standing psysical building as well as mosque or musholla. While the impact of uncertified land of wakaf has an impact that is the debate among the people who recognize the wakaf land that has stood the building of the mosque became his property.
