Daftar Isi:
- Indonesia is an agricultural country with the development priorities of food crops and horticulture as needs community. The development of such plants experienced many obstacles in the process of cultivation is limited land, soil fertility and pests and diseases. This study aims to determine the genus diversity entomopathogenic nematodes in plants red onion and soybean crops and the effectiveness of its virulence to the control of spodoptera litura larva attack. This study uses an exploratory and test the virulence of entomopathogenic nematodes, the study was conducted in several stages including soil sampling, entomopathogenic nematodes isolation techniques, methods white trap, fixation nematode population density calculation, manufacture and test preparations and identification of virulence isolates. The results of the exploration nematodes entomophatogen indiegenous in the area of the rhizosphere of plants shallots and soybeans as well as test its virulence to larva (Spodoptera litura), that is diversity entomopathogenic nematodes in the soil soybean and onion plants obtained two genus, the genus steinernema and heterorhabditis. Effectiveness of nematoda entomopatogen virulence of soil soybean and red onion fields began at 72 hours after infection, whereas the mortality of larvae S.litura reached 100% at 120 hours after infection.
