  • In 2010 the average production results pertanaian long beans in Indonesia amounted to 480 449 tonnes, while in 2013 the average production of beans decreased to 218 948 tonnes (Statistics Indonesia 2013). This low production can be caused by many factors, including the implementation of cultivation techniques are rudimentary. Fertilization is one alternative to improve the production capacity of the soil. This study was conducted to determine the effect of dosing compost and leaf litter Phonska NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of long bean(Vignasinensis L.). This study was conducted for three months from August to October 2017, the research conducted at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang farmland. The design used was a randomized block design (RAK) factorial consisting of two factors combined treatment and 16 respectively were repeated 2 times so that altogether there are 320 plants. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, flowers age, the amount of interest, long-punching, number of pods and pod weight of the total crop. The results of the study addressed that there is no interaction between the dose of leaf litter and compost fertilizer NPK observations Phonska on all variables. Leaf litter compost fertilizer effect on crop beans. The dosing schedule of 15 tonnes / hectare was able to influence the bean pod length panjang.Pupuk NPK Phonska effect on growth and yield, a dosage of 450 kg / ha was able to increase plant height ages of 15 and 30 days after planting, and the number of leaves age 23 hst and pod length and the number of pods plant long beans(VignaSinensis L).
