- In a fact, the students understanding of unggah-ungguh basa in 2nd of elementary school is still low, so that need the development of learning media. This research aims to 1) develop the learning media of Java Card Board 2) determine the validity of Java Card Board as a learning media, 3) determine the attractiveness and practicality of Java Card Board as a learning media. This research adopted from research and development of ADDIE development model. The research object is 2nd grade students of elementary school, material expert, media expert, and learning expert and the research subject is Java Card Board media. This research was located at SDN Butun 01 and SDN Gandusari 02 on February 2018. The data collection in this research used interview guides, observation sheets, questionnaires and the data analysis conducted by means of qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The research result 1) the development of ADDIE model obtained from Java cardboard media. 2) Java cardboard media suggested as a supporting media, the result of media expert was (82.5%) with valid criteria, the material expert was (91.25%) with valid criteria. 3) Java cardboard development as a learning media of 2nd grade can make students excited and active in the learning process. The attractiveness value of two group trials: small group trial get a very good percentage (96.4%), and big group trial get a good percentage (84.2%). Java cardboard development as a learning media of 2nd grade can make the students easy to learn and understand about unggah-ungguh basa material.
