- The right of immunity is immunity whereby each member of the parliement can not be prosecuted before and outside the court because of statements, questions, opinions that expressed orally or in writing at Regional People's Representative Assembly meetings, to the extent that they do not conflict with the Rules of Procedure and the code of ethics. But sociologically, there are people who accept but there are others who reject this right. Even the Regional People's Representative Assembly can be said that they give a very big authority for themself to hinder a legal process. This is certainly contrary to the principle of equality before the law and it is inconsistent with a fair judicial system. Problem formulation 1. How Implementation of Immunity Rights in Article 160 Alphabet F of Law No. 23 Year 2014 About Local Government to the Members of the Regional People's Representative Assembly in Gresik Regency? 2. How Is The Constraint In Implementation Of Immunity Rights In Article 160 Alphabet F of Law No. 23 Year 2014 About Local Government to the Members of the Regional People's Representative Assembly in Gresik Regency? This research uses sociological juridical approach. Based on the research conducted, the Immunity Rights owned by the Regional People's Representative Assembly of Gresik Regency is not the same as the Immunity Rights owned by the Indonesian People's Legislative Assembly in the Capital of Jakarta, it can even be said that Regional People's Representative Assembly of Gresik Regency is not protected by the right of immunity as it keeps giving protection and immunity to the members.
