- Javanese language is local content which is taught to students at the elementary and secondary levels in East Java and surrounding area. In fact, elementary school students are not really interested in Javanese language. The lack of student interest on Javanese script because the Javanese script learning is passive, not using media for student, not applying different learning method. For that reason, the researcher developed a learning media Parawaca with a game learning method to increase the student’s motivation in Elementary school Tlogomas I Malang. This current research is a research and development with ADDIE approach. This approach have 5 steps, those are: (1) analyze; (2) design; (3) development; (4) implementation; (5) evaluate. This research was done third grade student of elementary school Tlogomas I Malang. The result from the development of media Parawaca research showed that Parawaca media is feasible to be applied in the third grade student. Based on validation result from the expert, this media Parawaca obtained 84,4%, validation result from material expert obtained 91,6%, and validating result from learning expert gainned 93,7%. The result from response third grade student is good. The respond obtained 96,2% from questionnaire. Based on thos results, the researcher concluded that the learning parawaca media can increase the student motivation and help student in Javanese script.
