  • Based on the results of observations that have been done by researchers at SDN Mulyorejo 02 Ngantang, it is known that teachers deliver learning materials based on printed books that have been determined in the hope that students can understand the material better. But by simply referring to the printed book is very less effective, it is evidenced by the still difficult students to understand the material presented by the teacher. Based on the above background, the authors can formulate the issues to be studied as follows. (1) How is the educational interaction in teaching and learning process in class V SDN Mulyorejo 02 Ngantang Malang Regency? (2) How is the form of educative interaction developed by teachers in teaching and learning process in class V SDN Mulyorejo 02 Ngantang Malang Regency? This research uses qualitative approach and descriptive research type. Where researchers describe the results of research into the form of words or sentences. The subjects of this study are teachers and students of grade V SDN Mulyorejo 02 Ngantang Malang Regency. Data collection is obtained from observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that (1) SDN Mulyorejo 02 Ngantang has supported the growth of positive character of the students through character education provided by educative interaction during teaching and learning process. (2) Educative interaction developed to students is done by the teacher by through simple habits performed every day. Habits such as greet, march before entering the class including habits that must be done outside the classroom. Suggestions that can be conveyed include the role of teachers in fostering character education in students has been done well, but the cultivation of educational values must be improved continuously so that the quality of educational interaction is also increased.
