- Thematic learning is a learning system which is organized in a systematic way using strategies supported by instructional media. Understanding students who are not all have the ability to catch quickly so that teachers should be creative in delivering the material, especially if using learning media. With innovative media and has an interesting color combination will make students interested to follow the learning and students will easily understand the material. This study aims to develop a fun and innovative Video Learning media that can attract students to learn in grade 5 SDN Kauman 3 Malang. This type of research is a development study. The development model used is the ADDIE model. In the ADDIE model has 5 stages among them; 1) Analysis (Analyze), 2) Design (Design), 3) Development (Development), 4) Implementation (Implementation), 5) Evaluate (Evaluate). The subjects of this research are 5 th grade students of SDN Kauman 3 Malang City which amounts to 45 students. Trials were conducted on a large group of 40 students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the medium of Video Photography in the material of human respiratory organs. Data collection methods used were observation method, interview, questionnaire and test. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis techniques and analysis of student test results. The results of this study indicate that the media Video Photography is feasible and effective use in the thematic learning process theme 2 subtema 1 material of respiratory organs in humans. Percentage of media feasibility obtained by 97.39% (Very Good), material feasibility of 88.96% (Very Good) and learning feasibility of 97.77% (Very Good). The percentage of media effectiveness obtained after testing in large groups received an average of 83 (complete) grades and 77.5% complete clasical completeness. Then it is concluded that the Video Learning Photography media is feasible and effective to be used in the learning process in class 5 primary school.
