- This research was concerned on Think-Talk-Write (TTW) model on the writing ability of seventh grade students of SMP Bahrul Maghfiroh Malang. In addition, the purpose of this research was to find out the effectiveness of Think-Talk-Write (TTW) model on the writing ability of seventh grade students of SMP Bahrul Maghfiroh Malang. This research used an experimental design. Furthermore, in this research the researcher used quasi-experimental research. It was for the reason that the groups had already been organized in the school. Moreover, the instruments used in this research were writing pre-test and post-test. Based on the result of data analysis, the researcher found that Think-Talk- Write model was effective to improve the writing ability of seventh grade students of SMP Bahrul Maghfiroh Malang. It was very helpful when the students wanted to generate their handwriting for a certain topic. The students were able to engage in active learning activity like sharing and expressing the ideas during the learning process by using Think-Talk-Write model. In fact, the students who were taught by using Think-Talk-Write model were enthusiastic in doing the task. They were also very active in following the writing activities. The students enjoyed discussing with their friends and finished the task quickly. It could be seen from the data analysis that significant value was less than 0.05. Accordingly, Ho (Null Hypothesis) was rejected and Hi (Alternative Hypothesis) was accepted. Therefore, Think-Talk-Write model is significantly effective on improving writing ability of seventh grade students of SMP Bahrul Maghfiroh Malang.
