- Teenagers’ development task is not only at home, but also outside home related to their social environment, therefore, teenagers should be able to pass their development task. In fact, there are still many teenagers obstructed in facing it. Teenagers’ adapting ability in social environment is called as social adaptation. Teenagers with lower ability in social adaptation will have negative effect for themselves. Not only mother, but father also has the same opportunity in nurturing children intensively so it can increase children social adaptation. This research is aimed to know the influence of father’s involvement in nurturing children on teenagers’ social adaptation. This research was conducted by means of quantitative with casual correlative method. The research subjects were teenagers in Malang City, for about 500 people as samples who were taken by using purposive sampling. Data collection method used was scale of father’s involvement in nurturing children and teenagers’ social adaptation. The research result showed that there was influence of father’s involvement in nurturing children on teenagers’ social adaptation in Malang City, it was obtained the value of Sig. for about 0.000 (Sig.< 0.05; β = 0,166) which means that there is an influence for about 16,6%.
