  • Education has a big role in the establishment of ReinforcementCharacter Education. Education is not only transforms knowledge, but also has a role in shaping the character of the nation. However, in fact,the implementation of Reinforcement Character Education on thematic learning has several problems. The aim of this research is to know (1) the implementation of Reinforcement Character Education (PPK) on 5th grade thematic learning at SDN Lowokwaru 2 Malang, (2) The constraintsof the implementation of Character Education (PPK) on 5th grade thematic learning at SDN Lowokwaru 2 Malang, (3) Efforts in overcoming the constraints of the implementation ofReinforcement Character Education (PPK) on 5th grade thematic learningat SDN Lowokwaru 2 Malang. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Primary data sources are derived from principals, class teachers, while secondary data isderived from photo documentation. This research was conducted in second semester of academic year 2017/2018 on 27 February until 14 March 2018. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation to obtain data on the implementation of Reinforcement Character Education on 5th grade thematic learning at SDN Lowokwaru 2 Malang. The results showed that (1) Implementation of Reinforcement Character Education in the thematic learning at SDN Lowokwaru 2 Malang has been implemented since the new academic year 2017/2018. The value of Reinforcement Character Education has been contained in the ThematicLesson Plan Revised 2017 on preliminary, core, and also final activities implemented on learning activities. (2) The constraints of the implementation for the Reinforcement of Character Education on the 5th grade thematic learning at SDN Lowokwaru 2 Malang is the limited time to complete the material before UTS and UAS.Consequently,the attention to notice the implemented value of PPK has not conducted yet, the learning activities are not entirely the same as the lesson Plan made, teachers find difficulty to looking for activities that can bring up the value of PPK. (3) Efforts in overcoming constraints for Implementing Reinforcement Character Education on 5th grade thematic learning at SDN Lowokwaru 2 Malang is planning from the beginning of the learning year to allocate time more efficiently and adjust learning activities to the Lesson Plan that has been made.
