- Commitment is an important key to determining whether or not an organization's goals are successful. But not all employees have a commitment so this can harm the company. Affective commitment is one of the important factors that must be present in an employee. Employees who have high affective commitment feel comfortable in the company. Affective commitment is influenced by emotional maturity. Emotional maturity is the ability of individuals to be able to control or control emotions when faced with negative situations in their environment wisely so that they can be accepted by others. This quantitative research aims to determine the effect of emotional maturity on affective commitment on employees. Data were obtained by using a measuring instrument for emotional maturity and the Revised Affective Commitment Scale. Data obtained from 350 employees, with accidental sampling technique. Then analyzed regression with the results there is a significant effect of emotional maturity on affective commitment (r2 = 0.107; p = 0,000).
