- The intention to buy counterfeit sneakers shoes on students is influenced by the attitudes of students, the pressure or influence from others when wearing counterfeit sneakers shoes and controlling student behavior that inhibits or supports the purchase of counterfeit sneakers shoes. In addition, understanding people's attitudes toward money is important because everyone has a different attitude toward money. So the attitude toward money will determine the intention to buy counterfeit sneakers shoes to students. The purpose of this study, to determine the difference in intention to buy counterfeit sneakers shoes in terms of attitudes toward money on students. This research is a comparative quantitative research. The subjects used were 345 students of University of Muhammadiyah Malang with accidental sampling technique and using analysis of General Linear Model (GLM) Univariate. The result of the research shows that there is a difference of intention to buy counterfeit sneakers shoes in terms of attitude toward money in Power Prestige and Quality dimension. While the dimensions Retention Time, Distrust, and Anxiety, showed no difference intention to buy counterfeit sneakers shoes in terms of attitudes toward money.
