- The mathematics study of primary school is primary school learning taught to prepare the learners with logical, analytical, critical, creative, and cooperative ability. Mathematics learning is abstract so that teachers need instructional media to make the students understand the material being tuaght easier. Instructional media is made based on the student characteristics and the media design is made as attractive as possible to attract interest and facilitate students in learning. This study aims to develop a viable Adobe Flash ActionScript-based learning media for Grade V elementary school students. This type of research is a development study. The research and development model used is the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model has 5 stages: 1) Analyze, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. Data collection methods used were observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. The result of research and development of Adobe Flash Actionscript based development media are: 1) Analysis (Analyze), researcher identify problem, identification of source and solution. 2) Design (Design), researchers determine the KD, indicators, learning objectives and making Storyboard. 3) Development (Development) produces learning media and then validated with the results as follows: Percentage of material validation of 87.05% (Very Good), media validation of 83.33% (Very Good), learning validation of 86.15% (Very good). 4) Implementation (Implementation) is done to measure effectiveness, attractiveness and efficiency. The average student score 91 (complete) and classical mastery of 95.23%. Questionnaire student response to the media of 97.14%. Then it can be concluded that Adobe Flash ActionScript-based media is valid / suitable for use in the learning process in grade V elementary school students. 5) Evaluation, Formative Evaluation is done to collect data in the form of comments and suggestions from media validation to complete the media before implemented and summative evaluation done in the implementation stage to know the effectiveness of instructional media.
