  • Indonesian language learning given with purposes that students are able to communicate correctly, either orally or in writing and the students are able to convey ideas in their minds through good interaction with the community that includes four aspects include listening, speaking, reading, and writing . The purpose of this research is 1) Describe the implementation of writing skill study in SD Negeri 2 Tasikmadu reviewed from the main components of learning that includes objectives, materials, strategies, methods, and media and 2) Describe the evaluation of writing learning by teachers in the implementation of learning writing skills in SD Negeri 2 Tasikmadu. Research approach used in this research is descriptive approach with research located in SDN 2 Tasikmadu Trenggalek. Data collecting techniques in this research is Observation,interview and documentation. Analysis of this research data, researchers able to analyze the data that has been collected by critical analysis techniques. Based on the results of research and discussion of learning writing skills in grade IV SDN 2 Tasikmadu, concluded that the implementation of writing essay in SDN 2 Tasikmadu already executed. Learning objectives basically achieved in accordance with KD, indicator and syllabus that has been made. In the Learning Implementation Plan teachers use CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) strategies. The learning method applied in KD 3.7 explores the new knowledge contained in nonfiction text is a combination of lecture methods and frequently asked questions. The delivery of teachers materials are dominant and give a little chance to practice. Media used by teachers to support learning in the classroom still using a simple media, namely print media. Print media used is the theme book, and LKS. Evaluation of learning that done by teachers during the learning process and after learning.
