- Each individual has their own way to process their own memory, one of which is in the form of encoding. A form of coding can be influenced by the nature, the physical, and the environment. Factor to be studied in this research is one of nature in situation of work world that is type of theoretical personality. This study aims to determine the relationship of coding power to theoretical personality type in early adulthood. The research design used in this study is quantitative correlation with a sampling technique using quota sampling as many as 60 early adult subjects and analyzed using product moment person correlation. This study uses coglab (cognitive laboratory) measurement tool for implicit learning to examine the strength of coding and PAPI-Kosticks psychological test tools to examine theoretical personality types. The results of this study indicate that there is a negative correlation between coding power and theoretical individual type (r = -0.308; p = 0.016) which means higher the total score of coding power, the lower the theoretical score, while the lower the total score of coding power, the more high theoretical score.
