- Sugarcane (S. officinarum L.) is a herbaceous species of plants that are cultivated as crops producing sugar. As a product of refined cane sugar is an important commodity for the people and the economy of Indonesia as both the staple and as a raw material for food or beverages. E. arundinaceus is wild relatives that are closely related to the species S. officinarum. This species has great potential as a source of germplasm for breeding such as the ability to modify the shoots, life power, tolerance of environmental pressures, and hold the cane crop diseases. This research aims to know the variation of morphology and agronomy traits in F1 crosses of the similarity and the nature of the results of morphology and agronomy F1 offspring and second elder Saccharum hybrid PS 862 with Erianthus 76-348 IJ, IJ, IJ 76-367 76-374. Morphology characters and dendogram information Agronomy has similarities to the nature against the female elder. The coefficient of the variation of the nature of the morphology and agronomy on the results of the F1 crosses of the sugarcane and Erianthus, S. hybrid (862 PS) x E. arundinaceus (IJ 76-348) has a variation of 7-29%, s. hybrid (862 PS) x E. arundinaceus (IJ 76-367) has a variation of 6-29%, S. hybrid (862 PS) x E. arundinaceus (IJ 76-374) has a variation of 5-27%. Coefficient of variation of agronomy marker results variable 4 third cross belongs to the low number of variables, except the stem on the intersecting PS 862 x IJ 76-348 high and variable plant on intersecting PS 862 x IJ 76-374 belongs to the medium, the results of the F1 crosses of the coefficients of variation (KK) has no resemblance with agronomic and morphological properties of the male elder, but there are similarities with the female elder (greater than 80%)
