- Seed propagation using in vitro culture method becomes an alternative solution for the provision of quality seeds. ZPT is an important factor in in vitro culture propagation. ZPT which used in this research is BAP and use two varieties, there are Granola Kembang and Madisu AP4. This research aims to determine the effect of the addition of growth regulator substances BAP (Benzyl Amino Purine) on the growth of potato plant varieties Granola Kembang and Madisu AP4 by In Vitro. This research was conducted by using Randomized Block Design (RAK) splitplot method with 10 treatment combinations and 3 replications. The results showed that BAP treatment of 1 mg / l in the varieties of Madisu AP4 gave the best result on the parameters of shoot number, root number, length of longest shoot, BAP treatment 1 mg / l had significant effect on shoot number parameter, switch on treatment of BAP 2 mg / l had significant effect on root number parameter. But in the treatment of BAP 1 mg / l and BAP 2 mg / l obtained results that are not much different from the control, so that more efficient without the provision of BAP.
