- The use of cold-formed steel in Indonesian construction field has well developed. Light-weight, easy configuration become the factor of cold-formed steel popularity well developed. The high width-thickness ratio of cold-formed steel resulted into buckling failure. Research has showed that the weaknesses of cold-formed steel in buckling failure before their mechanics capasity will likelly to be happened. This study aim to analyse the use of timber lamina in cold-formed steel sections. These composite sections is done by adding swetenia mahagoni timber lamina to the web of C Lipped-Channel, double C Lipped-Channel back-to-back, double C Lipped-Channel toe-to-toe. Analyses done to the slenderness ratio of sections, critical stress, beam stiffeness and implementation study on pedestrian bridge. This study showed that the decreasing number of slenderness ratio in composite sections which is hand in hand with the increasing number of critical stresses of the sections. So finally, the section capasity either compression and tension beam also increase. In the other ways the beam stiffenesses also increase in composite sections.
