- This analysis is aimed to know the difference between basement work on tower 1 Grand Dharmahusada Lagoon Surabaya using top down method and bottom up method in terms of cost and time of implementation. The bottom up method is the method where the work starts from the bottom level basement that starts from the foundation work until top floor as planned. The top down method is where the work starts from the ground floor along with the gradual upper stage work up to the most basic basement. In the Grand Dharmahusada Lagoon Surabaya project initially used the bottom up method but over time the owner decided to use the top down method. To start the comparative analysis the first thing to do is to collect the drawing data of bottom up method planning and top down method from the owner. The analysis performed on bottom up method and top down method is the analysis of implementation method, worker unit analysis, cost analysis, time implementation analysis. From bottom up and top down method of analysis get result, 41 weeks and cost Rp 92.886.534.553,82 in bottom up method while analysis on top down implementation method takes 30 weeks and cost Rp 95.394.827.811,07
