- Development of construction projects are always linked to the surrounding support facilities to support the development of the project on the construction. Frequently encountered a lot of contractors do not pay attention to the effectiveness and safety of workers time to determine the most optimal layout so it needs to be analyzed and reviewed about it. In this final site layout will be optimized in terms of project management activities in terms of Traveling Distance and Safety Index optimum. Optimization calculations done by making some of the options become an alternative to the displacement between the location of each facility taking into account the extent of support facilities. Locations were reviewed was in Kali Rungkut Highway No. 25, Surabaya, East Java. From the results of which have been in to the calculation, the field survey and data contained in Transmart Kali Rungkut Surabaya, that the Site Layout in the construction area by TD and SI, can say yet optimal. Judging from the plot diagram that can show that the value of the Traveling Distance decreased 10:10% of the existing condition with the value contained in the 59.409 meters (Alternative 9). The decline also occurred in the value of the Safety Index (SI) of the existing condition of 9:01% with a value of 2,314.
