- The media learning in primary school is very important as the tools of the learning materials delivery to make the learning be effective and efficient. However, the limited media in some school make the basic javelin throwing movement learning in primary school, is not running as it should. This research aims to develop the rocket media as the tool of basic javelin throwing movement learning in the jasmani education of primary school. This research is the type of development research with research procedures and development, using the ADDIE models such as analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. As the data source, 31 of students in grade V SDN Tulusrejo 2 Malang is chosen. This research does in April 2018. The results of this research are obtained based on the data which is the result of expert validation, the result of observation, result questionnaire from the teacher and students response. The result of the research shows that the rocket media can be used as a learning tool for basic javelin throwing movement learning, in the jasmani education of primary school with a very decent category based on media expert's validator result with percentage 89%, material expert validator with percentage 84%. While the result of research rocket media development has been implemented in SDN Tulusrejo 2 Malang and got a positive response from the teacher about 100% and student response about 95%, then the result observation shows that the implementation of rocket media reach 100% percent. Rocket media need improvement in terms of size, so easy to carry by teachers and students.
