- Most of the students of grade 3 SDN 1 Slamparejo still do not understand the multiplication material and the division of integers. This is because learning still use a traditional model and methods that less varied. As a result, the student's value on multiplication and integer division is low. Of 32 students only 15 students whose value is complete and 18 students have not been completed, so needed efforts to improve student learning outcomes through the application of innovative models and methods of learning. This research aims to find out: 1) the application of NHT model with card game method in improving mathematics learning outcomes in grade 3 students SDN 1 Slamparejo. 2) improvement of mathematics learning outcomes in grade 3 students of SD Negeri 1 Slamparejo after the application of NHT model with card game method. This type of research is a classroom action research. Subjects in this research were grade 3 students SDN 1 Slamparejo with the number of students as many as 33 students. The research object in this research is the result of studying the grade 3 students SDN 1 Slamparejo on the subjects of mathematics of multiplication material and the division of integers. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. The result of this research obtained by step numbering, asking questions, thinking together, and answer in nht model already been done well. Students also showed an enthusiastic attitude in learning. Application of NHT model with card game method can improve student learning outcomes. This is indicated by the cognitive value of students who achieve 87.5% mastery and only four students who have not reached KKM.
