- Basically, there are some various problems in learning process. One of them happened on the first grade students of Tlogomas 1 Elementary School Malang in which the students’ abilities of story-telling or describing a picture in Bahasa was less than in daily language. They could tell story better in daily language although they were not fluent than in Bahasa. In this case, there needs an improvement in learning process through the application of teaching media to attract the students’ attention. This research was intended to: 1) produce developing product Pop-up BURIMA (Buku Cerita dan Permainan) Grade 1 Theme 5 My Experience, Sub-theme 2 and Learning process 5 at Tlogomas 1 Elementary School Malang teaching media, and 2) describe students’ responses on Pop-up BURIMA (Buku Cerita dan Permainan) Grade 1 Theme 5 My Experience in Tlogomas 1 Elementary School Malang teaching media. This research used ADDIE (Analysis – Design – Develop – Implement – Evaluate) model. The respondents of this research were 28 first grade students of Tlogomas 1 Elementary School Malang in the 2017/2018 academic year. This research was conducted two times to administer the try out in small and big groups. The other data needed were observation result, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. The results of this research showed that: 1) The development of Pop-up BURIMA (Buku Cerita dan Permainan) Grade 1 Theme 5 My Experience in Elementary School teaching media was very effective to be applied in teaching and learning process. This was proved by the result of the material expert validation was 87.5% and media attractiveness was 92%. 2) The development of Pop-up BURIMA (Buku Cerita dan Permainan) Grade 1 Theme 5 My Experience in Elementary School teaching media was very effective to be used in learning process. This was proved by the students’ responses were 90%.
