- Strengthening character education in SDN Tlogomas 2 Malang has been intergrated through extracurricular activities of dance. Extracurricular activities of dance in the school can be said good, it is proved from penghargaab that have been obtained school, in addition the application of strengthening character education through extracurricular dance goes well although the facilities and infrastructure owned by the school there are some less. The purpose of this study is to know: (1) implementation of strengthening character education through extracurricular activities of dance in SDN Tlogomas 2 Malang, (2) pa daja character values shown by learners during extracurricular activities of dance, (3) what only the inhibiting factor in the implementation of extracurricular activities of dance in SDN Tlogomas 2 Malang and (4) SDN Tlogomas 2 Malang. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Sources of data in this study are dance instructors, teachers in charge of extracurricular dance, principals and students. This study was conducted on the even semester of the academic year 2017/2018, with data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of extracurricular dance 5 values strengthening character education has been seen at the time ekstakurikuler activities take place, but there are some values that are more dominant during the implementation of activities that is nationalist and independent. Implementation of extracurricular activities of dance has inhibiting factors and supporting factors. The inhibiting factor is the number of dance coaches owned by only one person so that less optimizing the implementation of the extracurricular activities of dance while the supporting factors are the facilities and infrastructure that support the activities, the effectiveness of the students, the role of teachers and school employees. In essence extracurricular dance can be used as a means to instill the values of character education because in extracurricular activities taerdapat activities that reflect the values of strengthening character education.
