- The existence of waste from the cultivation of shrimp farm (Litopenaeus vannamei) is expected to have a negative impact on the environment. The waste that is not processed intensively can make waste not accordance with quality of the water in aquatic environment. The waste that produced by shrimp farming comes from the residual feed and shrimp feces. This organic waste can cause the river pollution, so that can degrade the aquatic environment quality. Aquatic environmental degradation affects on diversity of living organism in the water. One of them is Macrozoobenthos. Makrozoobenthos is a water organism that has tolerance to changes the quality of the aquatic environment. The entry of waste into the waters will affect the composition and abundance of species Macrozoobentos, therefore makrozoobenthos serve as an indicator of water quality. This research aims to know the impact of waste Vaname shrimp farm (Litopenaeus vannamei) on diversity level of Macrozoobenthos in Kali Jeruk river Trenggalek viewed from physical parameters (color, brightness, temperature, total solid (TDS and TSS)), chemical parameters (DO, pH , ammonia, salinity) and biological parameters such as Macrozoobenthos (diversity index, uniformity index and domination index). This research was conducted by means descriptive quantitative. The research sampling was conducted at 5 stations with the distance between stations 500 m. Each station consists of 3 points of sampling that already performed as much as 3 times repetition. The plot size is 1x1m and the distance between plot is 1 m. The data collection of this research conducted by using observation method then the data analysis techniques conducted by calculating the index of diversity, uniformity index and dominance index followed by PCA analysis (Principal component analysis). The research result found as many as 10 species of Macrozoobenthos that consisted of 3 classes, 7 families and 9 genus. The highest value of Macrozoobenthos diversity at station 5 is 2.100751 and the lowest value at station 2 is 0.992993. Based on the results of parameters PCA analysis that have a close correlation directly proportional to the diversity of Macrozoobenthos are pH, brightness and DO.
