- Social media is not a new thing in society. Social media has become a part of our daily life. One of the social media platforms that have been popular nowadays is YouTube. Some people on YouTube often mix their languages when speaking that called as code mixing. This research aims to: 1) find out the code mixing used by Gita Savitri Devi in her YouTube channel, and 2) know the lexical meanings of code mixings used in Gita Savitri Devi’s YouTube channel. This research used descriptive qualitative design. It was used to explain the types and the lexical meaning of code mixing used by Gita Savitri Devi in her YouTube channel. The instrument that used in this research was document analysis. The object of this research was YouTube channel of Gita Savitri Devi. The result of this research showed that: 1) the researcher found 271 code mixings from six video transcripts; 205 code mixings are included in insertion, while 58 are classifying into alternation, and 8 of congruent lexicalization, 2) the researcher clasified lexical meanings of 271 code mixings from six videos that had been found.
