Daftar Isi:
- Fusarium oxysporum is one of the pathogenic fungi that causes wilting in tomato plants and is capable of causing harm to farmers. Mango plants are classified in traditional medicine because they contain active secondary metabolite compounds such as mangiverin, flavonoids, alkoloid, and tannins. Active compounds contained in the leaves of mango is allegedly capable of potency as an antifungal. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving sweet arum mango leaf extract (Mangifera indica L. var. arum manis) to the inhibitory power of Fusarium oxysporum fungal growth on tomato plants, to determine the most effective concentration against F.oxysporum growth inhibition and utilization research results as a source of learning biology. The type of research was True Experiment Research with Randomized Complete Design using 5 treatment group mango leaf extract concentration 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, and 80% and 1 control group (negative) using aquadest with repetition of each treatment 5 times and incubation process for 5 days. Data analysis techniques used a One Way Anova analysis test and a further test using a 5% Duncan test. The results showed that there was an effect of the effect of sweet arum mango leaf extract (Mangifera indica L. var. arum manis) on the inhibitory power of Fusarium oxysporum disease on tomato plants. The higher the concentration given, the greater the inhibitory power. 50% concentration with a percentage of inhibition of 52.8% is an effective concentration in inhibiting the growth of F. oxysporum. The results of this study can be used as biology learning resources especially for high school class X on the chapters of Various Levels of Biodiversity in Indonesia.
