- Stabilization on the consumer load is essential for microhydro power systems (PLTMH). Voltage control system at PLTMH with asynchronous generator for Electronic Load Controller (ELC) or complement load regulator system with one step in order to stabilize the response of consumer load output. PID control system is required as a complement to stabilize the response of consumer load output. But there is still a shortage of control system for PLTMH plant with 1 step that there is still line distortion out for consumer burden which will cause mechanical damage of household electronics. Therefore, the system requires 3 step ballast load to blur the existing line distortion. Consumer loads are 2 possibilities that occur simultaneously and gradually active (there is a change in load), therefore ELC 3 step system will be used to prevent excessive distortion.
