- UD. Gunung Sari is an agroindustry company that utilize and process casava commodity into cassava chips products. Problems that occur in this bussiness is on the preparation of raw materials of cassava, so the company can not comply an necessary of raw materials for productions. The problems occurs because of the rainy season, so it needs a raw material inventory management that shoud be applied company. The purpose of this research is to know 1)Preparation of optimal raw materials, 2)lead time in required of raw material order, 3)reset the point, and 4)efficient level of preparation of raw materials implemented by UD. Gunung Sari. The research method used is Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Methods of data retrieval using primary data and secondary data. The data used is a list of questions, observation, and documentation.The results showed the Economic Order Quantity method makes the raw material preparation system in the company become more optimal, where the total ordering cost equal to the total carrying cost. Lead time of the company is 1 day and Reorder point of amount every time to make order this because company every day do ordering of raw material. The EOQ method proves the total cost of raw material inventory is more efficient with a percentage of 0.85% in 2013, 2014, and 2015, and 0.87% in 2016 and 2017.
