- This study aims to: (1) To know the common problems dealing with anxiety faced by 8th-semester Thailand students in Speaking Classtaught in University of Muhammadiyah Malang; (2) To know how to cope the anxiety problems faced by 8th-semester Thailand students in Speaking Class taught in University of Muhammadiyah Malang. This study was conducted on 8th-semester Thailand students in Speaking Class taught in University of Muhammadiyah Malang in the academic year of 2016 / 2017. This study used a qualitative method. The subjects of this study were 8th-semester Thailand students in Speaking Class at University of Muhammadiyah Malang which amounted to 4 students. The results showed that there are six factors triggering FLA; 1) Personal and interpersonal anxieties; 2) Student beliefs about language learning; 3) Teacher beliefs about language teaching; 4) Teacher- Learner interaction; 5) Classroom tasks; and 6) Language testing. In response to solve the appearing problems, the writer found that the likely applicable solutions to execute were; 1) controlling body gestures and relaxation; (2) raising self-motivation; 3) conducting fun learning; 4) being appreciatively warm and nice to the students by conducting personal evaluation; 5) reflecting to any students comments by giving motivation and apperception; 6) preparing and reviewing materials before exam.
