- Problem of line balancing in production stream sometimes still often is regarded by company,thought at reality the problem of line balance represent one other laying a part important in accomplisment of goal production which have been plenned PR.369 Baureno, Bojonegoro that manufacturing enterprises producing cigarette. Problem faced by this company is the company frequently cannot fulfill request of consumer caused by lowering sum up production consequences by less of balanced production line. In the effort of finishing the problem, the method that used is Rank Positional Weight (RPW) method and region approach (RA) method that representing of heuristic with approach of trial and error.efficiency analysis that done to compare early condition after applying the method of line balancing at company include balance delay,line efficiency,and output production. Based to the result of analysis from second of method got the calculation result of early balance delay 45.9 % decreasing become 13.8 % with rank positinal weight (RPW) method and 14.2 % with region approach (RA) method.While efficiency of line from early condition equal to 54.1 % mounting become 86.2 % with rank positional weight (RPW) method and 85.8 % with region approach (RA) method.Output production cigarette ultimate type mounting from early condition equal to 13.920 unit/month become 14.568 unit/month with rank positional weight (RPW) method and 14.496 unit/month with region approach method (RA). With this improvement,company can fulfill request of consumer and the two method can be used in trouble-shooting of line balance to increase productivity in PR.369 Baureno, Bojonegoro.
