- Film is one media to express fight to injustice, dogma and ambiguous value which only profitable for some parties. For many reasons, by fight idealism to proper culture, many mass sinews, especially from youth generation, make an artwork which contradicted with the ordinary rule of an artwork. Commercial theme was not a consideration in making an artwork. The themes was expressed struggle and original idea from daily life. To reveal the mean of signs in a movie, there was done a descriptive analysis. The analysis recognized two signs meaning, denotation and connotation. The description about meaning was done in clear way and developed in connotation. Beside, Barthes also saw the other aspect from signing which he called myth. Method used in this research was descriptive analysis, that was analytical method to reveal sign of a culture. Descriptive analysis was a based of analysis. The research was descriptive. The analytical unit was scene which described dark life in accurate and concrete, also the things which disturbed the society. Data collection was done by watching and reading pictures, sounds, and noted the picture taking technique, property, and background music. Data analysis was done through two phase signing, which signing as denotative and connotative where in the last phase described myth in signing cover. The conclusion was that lyric interpretation of the clip video was not wiring. It based on the intention of the maker to add sign through metaphor and effects to strengthen meaning and text. Meaning of the text not should be one unity with the visualization. The clip maker shouldn’t make a semiotic symbols which caused ambiguity and caught the message of the song writer.
