  • Basically, all companies that have incorporated the same goals and objectives for developing and trying to maintain the continuity of the company's production. For that, companies must be able to utilize existing resources is the use of industrial machines. The use of industrial machines can bring a positive impact on the speed and amount of production. However, on the other hand can also be a source of danger of accidents to employees or their own corporate environment. Accidents do not happen by itself but there is cause. Accidents usually can be caused by man himself and the work environment. Poor work attitude can be a source of workplace accidents and vice versa. The purpose of this study is to reveal attitudes towards safety and health of employees working in production department at PT. Air Mancur Unit Palur Karanganyar. This research uses a qualitative method with a subject as many as three people working in the production of milled PT. Air Mancur Unit Palur Karanganyar. Data collection methods used were interviews and observation techniques. The results showed a discrepancy between the cognitive with the affective and conative employees on occupational health and safety. The attitude of employees can not optimally support the health and safety programs. As a solution to this problem is expected the company to create a positive safety climate in order to create a positive attitude towards occupational health and safety of all employees, further enhancing the function of supervision on the use of personal protective equipment and protective equipment or tools of work by employees, and expected to be more assertive against sanctions for offenses committed by employees.
