  • Think Pair Share is a cooperative learning technique that assists and promotes the teaching of reading comprehension. Think Pair Share is also a low-risk strategy to invite studentsÂ’ engagement regardless the class size. Think Pair Share consists of three parts; think about a response, pair with a partner, and share to the whole class (Ledlow, 2001, p.1). This research aims to examine the implementation of Think-Pair Share Technique in enhancing the reading comprehension for the XII grades students at MA Al-Ittihad Malang.The design of this research was quasi experimental research. The sample of this study was composed of 60 students in 2016/2017 academic year. The instrument used was test focusing on achievement test. The test is divided into two; pre-test and post-test. In addition, the data was computed and measured by using SPSS computer program version 22. The findings revealed that the t value was higher than the t table (2.849 >2.001) and the level of significance was lower than 5% level of significance (.006 < .05). Based on that result, it has verified that alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. Evidently, the implementation of Cooperative Learning through Think-Pair Share Technique had positively impacted in providing better result of studentsÂ’ reading comprehension.
